Bright Light Bright Light look for a disco moment

After impressing me with his song and video for "How To Make A Heart", I've been keeping an eye on Welsh act Rod Thomas, aka Bright Light Bright Light.

His latest single off his debut album Make Me Believe In Hope, "Disco Moment" is a throbbing dance track that anticipates the end of a troubled relationship. It's something that sounds like it's straight out of Robyn's songbook. In fact, no sooner had I dubbed him the "male Robyn", did I read aquote from NME calling him "the boy Robyn in all but name."

And that's a great thing in my books. Just the other night, my boyfriend and I were talking about how there aren't enough songs by males singers played during Pride festivities. It's usually all about the diva. And I think Bright Light Bright Light can help fulfill the lack of male dance artists quite nicely.
