I don't know why, but for some reason I always thought Handsome Furs, one of my fave indie bands, were from Toronto. I just learned they are actually from Montreal! Oops! 

Anyway, the synth-rock husband and wife duo are back with their third album Sound Kapital, and this time, their fusion of electronic and punk music has segued into a more New-Wave vibe. According to the press release, the album was influenced by Eastern European electronic and industrial music from the 80s. Which means, I love it. 

And I especially love the naughty NSFW video for the lead single "What About Us", which features Dan and Alexei cruising around, picking up prostitutes and having all sorts of sex games in hotels and in the woods. Lots of boobs, vag and even a penis!
