Kanye and Jay-Z go H.A.M.

It's no question that in the world of hip hop, Kanye West and Jay-Z are the most likely candidates for kings of the game. So, it should be no surprise that the two are planning to drop a collaborative album, appropriately titled Watch The Throne, in a matter of months.

Today marked that release of their first single, and thus the litmus test for this collaboration, "H.A.M.", which stands for "hard as a motherfucker".

This song could have gone either way. With two huge names involved, this could have been one big mess of clashing egos. Or they could inspire each other to sound their best.

Thankfully, it was the latter, not former.

The track is all edge. It's an aggressive hip hop anthem, complete with the bravado you'd come to expect from these guys, this time in the form of a dramatic opera sampled in the chorus.

Simply put, this track is fire. And I can't wait to hear what else these two have up their sleeves.
