Britney Spears gives us a glimpse into her mind. Yep, she's still nuts.

What the hell is happeningi in Britney Spears' new video "I Wanna Go"???

In yet another video that chronicles her struggle with dealing with the press, the video opens with Britney telling a bunch of reporters to go fuck themselves (the funniest part of the video), before she takes to the streets and unleashes a Britney-style rampage... well, this time without an umbrella.

She gropes fans, makes out with a hot cop and takes paparazzi down with her microphone. She seems to be living out every big pop star's dream. That is, until we find out the paparazzi are actually cyborgs. Including her knight in a shiny convertable, Guillermo Diaz (Weeds)

Oh, phew, it's all very elaborate daydream. Or was it? In an unwarranted nod to Michael Jackson's "Thriller", the final frame reveals Guillermo really is a cyborg.

The whole thing is dumb. While I appreciate Britney having fun at her own expense ("Crossroads 2: Cross Harder"), asking me to believe that she's really that in control of her life, let alone her career, is a pretty big pill to swallow.

Speaking of pills, whatever meds she's on these days really brings out the sparkle in her eyes.

Britney, Nicki and Ke$ha usher in the end of the world

As if my favourite Britney song could get any better!

"Till The World Ends" makes me jump around like an idiot against my will. I can't help it, that song is just so infectious.

And now, we get a crazy good remix featuring Nicki Minaj, who is opening for Britney's tour, and Ke$ha, who wrote the song. The song gets a bit of a dubstep influence, while Nicki delivers a crazy rap that only Nicki can deliver. Strange accents and catchy wordplay abound and she pretty much steals the show. Britney's vocals remain the same and Ke$ha sings the chorus.

I'll admit, the beginning does sound a bit choppy, but it eventually finds it legs and gets going. I mean, it's pop's princess with two of music's hottest female acts.

I think I still prefer the original, but as far as remixes go, this is pretty epic.

Britney's got something to prove

I guess when everyone is criticizing you for not dancing like you used to, one way to combat that is to release an alternate video that focuses on the choreography.

That's what Britney has done with her latest video "Till The World Ends". A second version, called "DANCE Till The World Ends" has come out and instead of the apocalyptic storyline, it focuses strictly on the dancing.

And look! Britney is lifting her legs and hopping and looking like she's have a great time. Sure, it's not the Britney of yesteryear, but it's better than nothing. I wonder if she's going to bring that energy to her summer concert.

Britney and Rihanna get kinky together

Two of pop's biggest music superstars have gotten together for a little S&M fun.

Rihanna and Britney Spears have released a remixed version of Rihanna's hit "S&M", which features Britney trading verses with the Bajan singer.

I didn't think Britney would be able to pull it off. After all, Rihanna has a much stronger voice that Britney. But, Britney actually pulls it off - perhaps with some studio help, but it's minimal. I can't remember the last time I heard Britney actually sing - with conviction, to boot!

The song comes just in time to be re-introduced as a dirty summer jam. It also is bound to help Rihanna out, who's been struggling to sell tickets to her tour.

Take a listen to a leak of the track below!

Britney dances through the apocalypse

Britney has dropped her latest video for "Till The World Ends", one of my fave tracks off of her latest album, Femme Fatale.

The clip is a much needed improvement from the mess that was "Hold It Against Me". There is a coherent, simple story line, and Britney seems to be much more relaxed and happy. Sure her dancing still isn't up to snuff, but at least she's moving her legs this time around.

In the video, the date is December 21st, 2012 and we find Britney and a ragtag gang of misfits moving underground while asteroids pummel the earth. They're dancing, sweating and pretty much having an orgy. Hell, if the world was ending, that sounds like a pretty good place to be.

Now, some novices are claiming Britney is copying Ke$ha and Gaga, but to them I say, "Educate yourself!"

If anything, "Till The World Ends" is pretty much an exact replica of her steamy video "I'm A Slave 4 U". The sweaty bodies, the glaring spotlights, the copious amounts of dry humping - it's all there. The only difference is that instead of waiting for rain to end the drought in "Slave", Britney is now waiting for the sunlight after the asteroid attack.

So, while it might not be the most original video, it's still pretty hot and a fine addition to the Britney videography.

Also, the guy with the shaved head she dances with at the beginning? Yeah, that's one meteor I wouldn't mind crashing into.

Jessie and the Toy Boys play with dirty laundry

Pop star Jessie Malakouti get some attention a couple of years ago when people were claiming that Britney's "If U Seek Amy" sounded a lot like Jessie's hit "Trash Me".

Um, other than one line in the chorus, I think that's a stretch. And Jessie probably enjoyed the free publicity.

After all, Jessie's music sounds like an hybrid of Britney, Ke$ha and Gaga, so it's not like she's actually breaking new ground.

But, she makes fun pop music, so what more do you need?

Her latest video for "Push It", featuring Yelawolf, is a dirty song about sex that uses the thinnest of veiled innuendos in it's lyrics about wanting it, pushing it and making it fit.

The video is set in a laundromat, which might seem odd at first. But when you start thinking about spin cycles and buckets of soap suds, you realize this isn't your average laundromat. It's like a laundry club! Hey...why doesn't that exist yet?

Britney springs more leaks

In case you haven’t figured it out, I’m pretty excited about Britney’s new album, Femme Fatale, that’s set to drop in a couple of weeks.

While “Hold It Against Me” is rocking the charts, and “Till The End Of The World” was only recently announced as the next single, two more songs have hit the web.

Even though Britney described her album as a big dance album, “Inside Out” is a slow, but sexy tune about break-up sex. She even quotes herself in cute lyric: “Hit me baby one more time, it’s so amazing”. Personally, I like when Britney gets down and dirty.

While it may not be dancefloor friendly, I love how moody this song is and it’s really nice to hear Britney’s voice with minimal production tricks on it. She does have a pretty good voice when she actually uses it.

The second track brings back the beats. “(Drop Dead) Beautiful” features Britney getting all hot and bothered about a cute guy and she gets some help from up and coming rapper MC Sabi. There’s no question about this track – it’s a full-on club banger.

Now, I don’t necessarily like that all these tracks are leaking. I prefer some sort of mystery around an upcoming album and it’s overall sound. But, in this case, all of these leaks and early releases are only whetting my appetite even more!

Britney and Ke$ha usher in the end of the world

Stop! The next single from Britney Spears' upcoming Femme Fatale has leaked.

Let's take a listen to "Till the World Ends":

Now, if you think it sounds a like something Ke$ha should be singing, that's because she wrote the song.

Great. So, it's not enough that all of the top pop songs are written by the same 5 people (Dr. Luke, Max Martin, The-Dream, David Guetta and Ryan Tedder), but now top grossing popstars are writing for other top grossing popstars.

It's getting to the point where one day, with all the Auto-Tune and imbred music production, all of the chart topping hits will be sung by a robot in some top secret studio in LA and we won't know the difference.

On the plus side, I'm guessing that Britney must be so thankful that Ke$ha invented sing-talking. We all know Britney is the queen of not trying.

Britney teases some more

Dr. Luke, the pop producer du jour, has posted a few very short teasers of some tracks from Britney's upcoming album Femme Fatale.

Judging from the snippets, it's going to be more of the synthesized, dance jams that Britney has (unfortunately?) become known for. So, she'll be phoning it in again.

But, I know I'll buy it and still dance like an idiot to it. So let's get to it.
