As ridiculous and hilarious as LMFAO's new single "Sexy and I Know It" is, I think it's absolutely brilliant.
After decades of music videos showing women's breasts and asses jiggling around in barely nothing, the dance group strip down to their skivvies and shake their junk in this anthem to guys looking good.
Recent divorcée Jennifer Lopez has found a novel way to help her broken heart and bruised ego. Make music video where every man in the city is chasing you for your affection!
I have to admit, I think this video is pretty funny and cute. But, I have one question: If the mystical concierge from the West Indies only meant for the cookies to be eating in a small bite, why did she make them so damn big? If I were J-Lo, I'd have scarfed down the whole thing.
(But, my resulting video would have been much more x-rated.)
Everyone wants Justin Timberlake to stop acting and get back to music. So much so, that now there is an online movement happening, consisting of this hilarious viral video.
The more I think about it, the more I'm realizing that Justin in only screwing himself over. I mean, the longer he waits, the greater the anticipation becomes. Which means that we are only more likely to be disappointed by what he eventually puts out.
I mean, instead of us saying "Oh, man, that sounds dope" (cuz that's how I talk when I listen to music), we'll all say "Oh, that's it?"
So, Justin, be warned. You're not doing any of us any favours by persuing this acting thing. Especially yourself.
One of my fave bands, Snow Patrol, is readying their 6th album Fallen Empires, and it seems that they're moving away from the sombre ballads and going for more fun.
After all, the lead single "Called Out In The Dark" has a funky soul-pop vibe that is a bit of a departure for the band, but a departure that works.
And then we have the video, which features Gary Lightbody being replaced by dashing Pirates of the Caribbean actor Jack Davenport for the video shoot. Not happy with this decision, Gary makes himself a big bother on the set by ruining shots, knocking over walls and messing up the dancers' choreography.
So, Miles Fisher is a singer and actor who is drop dead gorgeous and could be Tom Cruise's long-lost son. Look!
Anyway, he's currently in Final Destination 5, and he recorded a song "New Romance" for the soundtrack. The song is pretty decent for a actor/singer who's kinda new to the scene. It's kind of Maroon 5-sounding.
Anyway, what's really important here is the brilliant video that parodies the ridiculously elaborate death scenes that Final Destination is famous for, by transposing it to a Saved By The Bell set!
That's right. The set, the costumes, the hair... the attention to detail for all the Saved By The Bell references is pretty impressive. And it's funny watching each of the student come to their unfortunate, but hilarious, demises.
They even recreate the infamous "I'm So Excited" scene by Jesse Spano.
Aside from the obvious eye candy in Jonny McGovern's new "Sexy Nerd" video, there are some pretty clever rhymes going on here. For instance "I've never had a pocket protector get me erecter." Brilliant.
It struck me today that Beyoncé has been on a secret mission to turn white over the years. The proof is in her album covers.
The skin tones get lighter, the hair gets straighter...from a bootilicious island girl to a strange amalgamation of Ke$ha and Jessica Simpson, it seems Beyoncé is the MJ of our time!
After all the (staged?) brouhaha over Weird Al's parody of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way", we finally have a video for "Perform This Way".
It's pretty much a literal translation of his lyrics to the screen. And, I didn't really find it that funny. Mostly because I was terrified of his face transposed on that hot chick's body for the video's duration.
Props for slipping in the Madonna reference, though.
