Rod Thomas (Rod, not Rob) is a singer, songwriter and producer from Wales who made the switch from acoustic-based music to something more akin to New Wave electro music. 

And it's a switch that seems to be working for him.

Under the stage name, Bright Light Bright Light, Rod is prepping the release of his debut album Make Me Believe In Hope, with the first single "How To Make A Heart", a melancholic electro song that shows of Rod's great vocals nicely.

The video is a computer animated story of a lonely robot looking for companionship. I don't know why, but I love the idea of robots that feel emotion. Wall-E, anyone???
